We will strive to the best of our ability to have a friendly and caring environment in which we can create an atmosphere of trust between our staff and clients.
Medical grooming services at our clinic are performed by trained veterinary technicians to help manage and prevent mats, as well as address overall hygiene needs.
Our medical grooming services are available exclusively to current patients. If your cat has not yet been seen by one of our veterinarians, an initial exam will be required to establish care prior to scheduling.
Each appointment begins with a discussion of your cat’s needs and your expectations. However, recommendations may be adjusted at the time of the visit based on coat condition and patient tolerance. To support a low-stress experience, all cats scheduled for medical grooms are required to receive anti-anxiety and anti-nausea medications prior to their appointment. Due to the amount of stress most cats experience during grooms, our patients will receive moderate to heavy sedation under the medical supervision of a veterinarian.
Our medical grooming services are limited to:
- Lion cuts
- Sanitary trims
- Mat removal
- Nail trims
- Ear cleaning
- Anal gland expression
Please note that we do not offer bathing or show grooming.
